Youth Mentorship Program
Yes we do offer one on one mentoring for ages 4-18 years old.
For under 6 years old it's $15 an hour and for 7 years and up it's $20 an hour and that includes the supplies. Sometimes we use a lot of supplies and sometimes it's a little more low key, but it all evens out for sure. We also help foster art terminology as well as a little art history (even with our younger students).
We normally do once a week for an hour, that seems to be a good amount of time, we try to "complete" a project/idea a session. Every session we focus on different creative building and materials.
It's not just technical building we focus on but more positive and creative thinking through art.
We figure out a time and day that works best for both of us, but always time is limited. I do think it's a good idea to set a 5-6 week session time span.
My schedule is sometimes varied so we do ask parents to be flexible at times.New 2018 Programming Coming Soon!

410 Project
Individual Art Classes and Mentoring
Ages: 4 -18years old
Over the past three years 410 Director Dana Sikkila has been working with children and young adults, using the arts not just to expand their creative mind and skill set but also helping them use art as a way to grow self confidence, awareness, and motivation. She's worked with many young artists one on one but also in groups. Teaching is a huge passion of the 410 Project and Dana loves nothing more than seeing our youth grow through the use of art. If you have a child that is interested in learning more about drawing, painting, printmaking, fibers, or sculpture, her super affordable one on one lessons are a great option for after school!Depending on child's age, prices for lessons:
$15 per hour if you include supplies
$20 per hour and we supply the supplies.
**If child is under 5 years old prices will be different.
Which is $12 an hour for kids under 5 years old.All lessons are held at the 410 Project, taught by Director Dana Sikkila, times and days can be scheduled around the parent or guardians schedule. Lessons can be scheduled out for as long as you want, We just need two weeks in advance when you plan to stop lessons.
